Our 17th century Longhouse nestled amongst farmland, set in an acre of luscious landscaped gardens, has spacious sitting and dining rooms with oak beams and inglenook fireplaces.

We offer delicious breakfasts and wonderful country cuisine in the evenings. In addition to our Table d' Hote Menu you can select from our Specials Board. Our produce is sourced from local suppliers whenever possible or from our own fruit and vegetable garden.

Why not enjoy a pre dinner drink from our fully licenced bar. Enjoy your favourite tipple in our large and comfortable lounge or on a warm summer's evening in our beautiful gardens.

Our farmhouse has 5 double en-suite rooms and 1 twin bedded room with private bathroom.

Sampson Barton has been run as a Guest House for the past 27 years and has gained the reputation of offering an extremely friendly service combined with the professionalism you would expect from a high quality hotel.
