Come and see our wonderful snowdrops, some planted hundreds of years ago, stretching from the gardens to the sea. Early daffodils, camellias, hellebores and spring flowers too.
Explore the grounds, the woodland and walled gardens and the walk to the beach. Wellies advisable!
Lots of lovely walks, bring children and dogs(on leads)!

to mark the anniversary of the Battle of Torrington, the last major battle of the Civil War.
2.00pm - Musket competition at 1646 (weather permitting)
7.00pm - Musket volley and March leaves Great Torrington School
7.20pm - Musket volley, wreath laying and proclamation in town square
7.45pm - Musketry and fireworks in South Street car park
8.30pm - Retire in good order to the ale house
