Clovelly Herring Festival 2011

"The herring is the king of the sea, the herring is the fish for me, sing follderiddle-aye ...."
Smokehouse and demonstrations of fishing skills and crafts. Mike Smylie's Kipperland Exhibition. Quay kitchen with tastings, shanty singers, special promotion of Devon cider and wine ".... an' all sorts of things". Normal admission charges to village.
